Trip Indroduction

Kathmandu Pokhara Tour is always a good idea for your vacation in Nepal because it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. Kathmandu-Pokhara Tour is one of the popular tour programs in Nepal among different packages like Kathmandu Valley Tour, Bardia National Park Tour, Chitwan Jungle Safari, Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Tour including this. Kathmandu and Pokhara, also known as the ‘city of temples’ and the ‘city of natural beauty’ respectively, are two popular city destinations in Nepal.  Each city has its own unique cultural heritage and natural diversity. In Kathmandu Pokhara Tour, we will get to know Kathmandu during its medieval period and explore the natural beauty of Pokhara.

While we are in Kathmandu, we cannot miss the cultural and architectural beauty amidst the hustle and bustle of a typical city. The most famous ones are the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhu and Boudha Stupas which are also enlisted in the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The Durbar square used to be the palace of the royals during the 19th century. The buildings and temples around this area are artistically crafted with intricate designs and patterns on the wood structure of the buildings. Another heritage of Kathmandu is the Pashupatinath temple, where Hindus around the world visit to worship Lord Shiva. It is also the place where dead bodies are cremated on the holy river bank. Then there are Swayambhu and Boudha stupas well worshipped by Buddhists. These stupas are magnificently surrounded by a spiritual aura of chanting and prayer of the monastery and pilgrims around them.

On the other hand, Pokhara has the most scenic views of the Himalayan mountains and lakes, along with a little touch of modernity.  In Pokhara, there is the famous Davis fall, Chamero gufa, Fewa Tal, Begnas Tal and many other cultures as well as naturally occurred places. From the height of the Peace Pagoda, just above the Fewa Lake, we can view the entire Pokhara valley along with Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range in the backdrop. Sarangkot, a hilltop to the north of Pokhara, provides the best sunrise view over the mountains. You can grab the opportunity for paragliding and bungee jumping or even plane gliding around Pokhara during this Sightseeing Tour in Pokhara and Kathmandu.

In addition, both the cities have a common trend of bustling lively nightlife at the tourist locations. In Kathmandu around Thamel, and in Pokhara around the Lakeside, both the cities have adopted the notion that the night is to be enjoyed as well. You will find bars and pubs and even restaurants providing their services till late at night. To enjoy and rejoice the memorable Kathmandu Pokhara Tour and share the experience with Himalayan Monk Travels & Treks is worth your time and every penny.
