  1. Agreement
    By submitting the booking form you are bound to the company agreements and policies. The terms and conditions establish a common ground for the company and client. Both the party have the right to resolve any dispute based on the terms and conditions of the contract. Please read the terms and conditions of the company carefully before booking.
  2. Booking and deposit
    Visitors can book and pay online for their desirable trip which are provided on the company’s website. A contract is established between the company and the client only when booking is confirmed by the company. The company and the client reserve the right to increase or decrease the trip price before the booking confirmation. A booking confirmation demands 10% deposit of the total trip cost as per agreement. The trips that are customized, or that require flight bookings, hotel bookings and transportation bookings may require higher deposit amount. The company will notify for the extra booking costs. Please confirm the final booking payment amount before online transactions. The company is not liable for any warranty or any other agreement and conditions other than as mentioned herein.
  3. Final payment
    The remaining payment of the trip should be made on arrival to Nepal or before the trip departure date. It can be made either by cash or by credit card (Visa or Master card) or American Express. There adds 13% local tax (VAT) when card is used for payment.
  4. Trip cancellation by client
    Cancellation of trip by client needs to be written to the company and acknowledged. Cancellation charge is determined from the day the trip cancellation request letter is received by the company. Cancellation of trips in Nepal 7 days or more before departure date deals loss of deposit 10% Cancellation of trips in Nepal 6 days or less before departure date deals total loss of booked services. If the client voluntarily leaves during the trip, there will be no any refunds. The client can change date of the trip as per the available dates of the company which may take some additional cost. It is advisable to take cancellation insurance at the time of booking if any doubt.
  5. Trip cancellation by company
    The company holds rights to cancel any trip including the confirmed trips, due to reasons that are beyond the control of the company such as natural disasters, flight cancellation, conflicts and strikes, war, government intervention, industrial actions, weather condition, or other unfavorable occurrences.
  6. Passport and visa
    Clients should hold a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from final departure date. Nepali visa can be obtained from Nepalese Embassies or consulate from your respective country or on arrival in Tribhuwan airport.
  7. Acceptance of risks
    The team of Himalayan monks is committed to provide the best services and ensure our client’s journey to be safe and smooth. However, there may arise some circumstances that are beyond the control of the company that may be road blockages, landslides, flight delays or cancellations due to bad weather, sickness or accidents. The company is not responsible for the changes in itineraries due to unavoidable conditions. It should be noted that there is personal risk due to natural calamities or accidents during the adventure trips. The company is not liable to such risks and the client should bear the risk of damages or injuries.
